Organic brake pad for Magura MT5/MT7

The pair of organic brake pads is intended for the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter equipped with the appropriate Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 caliper. Each black backing plate has two friction zones and an upper mounting tab.

Fitment is determined by the installed caliper. Before selecting, compare the brake marking, the shape of the old pads, and the mounting method. For a modified scooter, consider the installed brake; pads for a different stock caliper are not interchangeable just because of the same vehicle model.

Replacement and bedding-in

• Replace the pair when the pad is worn, damaged, or contaminated with oil. Also check the condition of the disc and the minimum allowable pad thickness according to the brake instructions.
• Remove the safety clip and the old pads. After the caliper service procedure, prepare the space for the new pair, install the pads with the appropriate spring, and re-secure the mounting. Do not touch the friction surfaces with greasy hands.
• Adjust the position of the caliper or the gap between the pads. Check the lever response and free spinning of the wheel, then bed in the brakes with several gradual slow-downs on a safe surface.
