KuKirin × EVOLT Performance Edition: electric scooters for riders who want more
KuKirin × EVOLT Performance Edition is a collection of selected electric scooters KuKirin, which we upgrade at EVOLT for more precise control, thoughtful configuration, and long-term local support. The main difference is the original NUTT hydraulic disc brakes; for most models, you can also choose the type of brake pads and tire profile when ordering. We have added the option to extend the commercial warranty to a total of two years, as well as service support at Tržaška cesta 222 in Ljubljana.
These are not just mass-produced scooters with a new label. The Performance Edition is intended for riders who want a proven base KuKirin but expect a better feel on the brake levers, a configuration tailored to their riding style, and service they can rely on even after the purchase.

What does KuKirin × EVOLT Performance Edition mean?
Performance Edition is an EVOLT version of a selected model KuKirin. The scooter's base remains a recognizable production model with its motor, battery, suspension, design, and electronics, while we adapt the braking system for more demanding use. For fully hydraulic versions, we replace factory mechanical brake calipers, levers, and steel cables with NUTT hydraulic calipers, hydraulic levers, and brake lines.
The exception is the KuKirin G2 2026 Semi-Hydraulic Performance Edition. In this model, the NUTT hydraulic brake is mounted on the rear, while the front retains a mechanical disc brake with an increased 160 mm disc. This represents a more accessible entry into the collection for riders who want the most significant change primarily on the rear brake.
Depending on the model, you can also choose brake pads, road, hybrid, or off-road tires, and purchase an additional year of commercial warranty when ordering. The exact configuration is stated on each product page.
Which KuKirin Performance Edition should you choose?
The right model is not necessarily the one with the highest power. Important factors are the terrain, length of the trip, weight of the scooter, desired range, riding style, and the level of brake upgrade.
| Model | Drivetrain | Battery and declared range | Performance Edition Brakes | Best suited for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KuKirin G2 Master | 2 × 1000 W | 52 V 20.8 Ah, up to 70 km | Front and rear NUTT hydraulic brakes | Demanding riders, dual motor, hills, and longer trips |
| KuKirin G4 2026 | 2000 W, rear-wheel drive | 60 V 20 Ah, up to 75 km | Front and rear NUTT hydraulic brakes | Riders who want a 60V platform, 11-inch wheels, and stability |
| KuKirin G2 2026 | 800 W, max 1200 W | 48 V 15 Ah, up to 55 km | Rear NUTT hydraulic, front 160 mm mechanical disc brake | Daily and mixed use and a price-balanced upgrade |
| KuKirin T3 2026 | 800 W | 48 V 15.6 Ah, up to 58 km | Front and rear NUTT hydraulic brakes | Urban riders who appreciate a distinctive design, 14 lights, and full hydraulics |
| KuKirin G2 Ultra 2026 | 2 × 800 W | 48 V 18 Ah, up to 55 km | Front and rear NUTT hydraulic brakes | Fans of dual motor, touchscreens, and advanced connectivity |
The stated ranges are declared maximum values. Actual range depends on speed, rider weight, terrain, incline, temperature, tire pressure and profile, and the frequency of acceleration and braking. The speed of models for use on public roads is limited according to the version and applicable regulations.
KuKirin G2 Master Hydraulic Performance Edition
G2 Master is intended for riders who want a serious dual-motor setup, confident hill climbing, and enough energy for longer trips. Two motors with a nominal power of 1000 W each provide a total of 2000 W, while the 52 V 20.8 Ah battery provides a declared range of up to 70 kilometers. Due to the power, weight, and quick changes of pace, a quality braking feel is especially important on this model.
In the EVOLT version, NUTT hydraulic disc brakes are installed front and rear. Compared to mechanical calipers, they require less force on the levers and allow for more precise modulation of braking. G2 Master is therefore suitable for more experienced users, longer descents, varied terrain, and riders who want a consistent feel on both brake levers.
When ordering, you can choose metal, semi-metallic, or sintered brake pads, as well as 10-inch road, hybrid, or off-road tires. This way, you can adapt the powerful dual-motor setup to predominantly urban riding, mixed surfaces, or frequent use off paved roads.
KuKirin G4 2026 Hydraulic Performance Edition
KuKirin G4 2026 is the right choice for a rider who prefers one extremely powerful rear motor over a dual-motor setup. Its 2000-watt motor, 60-volt battery with a 20 Ah capacity, a declared range of up to 75 kilometers, and wide 11-inch tires form a robust platform for longer trips, hills, and varied surfaces.
Precisely because of the scooter's weight, high torque, and wide tires, a brake upgrade makes great sense. The EVOLT version uses front and rear NUTT hydraulic disc brakes, which allow for more even force transfer and more precise modulation than factory mechanical brakes. The braking system is complemented by an electronic brake.
We recommend G4 to riders who appreciate the stability of larger wheels, a 60V drive system, and a spacious construction. Road, hybrid, or off-road tires are available, as well as a choice of brake pads, so you can adapt the configuration to asphalt, mixed use, or unpaved paths.
KuKirin G2 2026 Semi-Hydraulic Performance Edition
KuKirin G2 2026 is the most balanced model in the collection for riders who want a more capable scooter for everyday commuting but do not need two motors. A rear motor with a nominal power of 800 W and a peak power of 1200 W, a 48 V 15 Ah battery, and a declared range of up to 55 kilometers allow for enough reserve for urban hills, longer daily commutes, and occasional riding on gravel.
The label Semi-Hydraulic is important: a fully hydraulic NUTT disc brake is installed at the rear, while a mechanical disc brake with an increased 160 mm disc remains at the front. This is not the same system as the models with hydraulics on both wheels. The rear NUTT brake offers an easier and more controlled response, while the front mechanical brake is activated via a steel cable.
This version is most suitable for a rider who wants a significant improvement in the braking system and local support in a more accessible way. For the rear NUTT brake, you can choose the type of pads, and the scooter can be equipped with 10-inch road, hybrid, or off-road tires.
KuKirin T3 2026 Hydraulic Performance Edition
KuKirin T3 2026 appeals to urban explorers who, in addition to performance, also want a striking look and good visibility. An 800 W nominal motor, 48 V 15.6 Ah battery, and a declared range of up to 58 kilometers are combined with four-point suspension, 10-inch tubeless off-road tires, and a recognizable 14-light system.
In the Performance Edition, the factory mechanical brakes are replaced with front and rear NUTT hydraulic disc brakes. The same type of system on both wheels ensures a more consistent feel on the levers, easier force measurement, and less hand fatigue during frequent urban braking or on longer descents.
T3 is suitable for riders who want a fully hydraulic braking system, sporty geometry, a wide deck, and advanced lighting, but do not need a dual motor. With this model, changing or selecting a different tire profile is not part of the Performance Edition offer; the scooter is delivered with original 10-inch off-road tires.
KuKirin G2 Ultra 2026 Hydraulic Performance Edition
KuKirin G2 Ultra 2026 combines two 800 W motors, constant dual-motor drive, 48 V 18 Ah battery, and a declared range of up to 55 kilometers. It is intended for more demanding riders who want more grip when accelerating and on hills, while being drawn to technological extras such as a large integrated touchscreen and Bluetooth connection for the built-in speaker.
The EVOLT upgrade includes front and rear NUTT hydraulic disc brakes. For a 30.4-kilogram scooter with two motors, a repeatable and predictable brake response is important both for daily speed control and for riding on varied terrain. The hydraulic system allows for more effective force transfer without stretching a steel cable.
G2 Ultra makes sense for a user who wants dual-motor drive but is looking for a different package than the G2 Master: a more advanced dashboard, connectivity, and a distinct technological design. You can choose between types of brake pads and 10-inch road, hybrid, or off-road tires.
NUTT hydraulic brakes vs. mechanical disc brakes
Both systems use a brake disc and brake pads, but they differ in how force is transferred from the lever to the caliper. A mechanical disc brake uses a steel cable. A NUTT hydraulic brake transfers force through a closed system using brake fluid.
| Feature | Mechanical disc brake | NUTT hydraulic disc brake |
|---|---|---|
| Force transfer | Steel cable | Brake fluid in hydraulic line |
| Lever feel | More direct mechanical feel, usually requires more force | Easier, smoother, and precisely adjustable response |
| Modulation | Depends on adjustment, friction, and cable stretch | More even force transfer and better fine adjustment capability |
| Maintenance | Adjusting cable tension and caliper position | Checking pad wear, fluid leaks, and bleeding the system if needed |
| Suitability | Simple and affordable solution for moderate use | Suitable for heavier, more powerful, and frequently ridden scooters, and riders who want more control |
A hydraulic brake by itself does not remove physical limitations. Stopping distance is still influenced by speed, rider and scooter weight, tire grip, surface condition, temperature, pad and disc wear, and rider technique. The advantage of the NUTT system is primarily in more precise dosing, less effort on the lever, and a more repeatable feel.
Brake pads and tires according to riding style
Metal, semi-metallic, or sintered pads?
For models with a choice, you can adapt the NUTT brake configuration to the expected load. Metal or semi-metallic pads are a sensible versatile choice for regular daily use. Sintered pads, also marked as Sinter 002, are intended for more demanding riders, higher thermal loads, frequent braking, and longer descents. Performance, noise, and wear also depend on the weather, the state of the disc, and proper bedding-in of new pads.
With the G2 Semi-Hydraulic, the choice refers to the pads of the rear NUTT hydraulic brake. For fully hydraulic models, the configuration refers to the NUTT system on both wheels in accordance with the options on the product page.
Road, hybrid, or off-road tires?
- Road tires have a smoother profile and are therefore suitable for predominantly asphalt paths, quieter rolling, and direct road contact.
- Hybrid tires are the most versatile choice for a combination of asphalt, poorer urban surfaces, and occasional gravel.
- Off-road tires have a more pronounced profile for more grip on dirt, gravel, and softer surfaces, but they can be louder on asphalt and have more rolling resistance.
Tire selection is available for models G2 Master, G4 2026, G2 2026, and G2 Ultra 2026. For the T3 2026 model, tire changes are not part of the offer; original off-road tires remain installed. Always check the availability of each version on the chosen product's page.
How is the warranty arranged?
Every KuKirin × EVOLT Performance Edition includes a one-year commercial warranty. At the time of purchase or via options on the product page, you can purchase an additional year to secure a total of two years of commercial warranty. The additional year must be selected at the time of purchase; subsequent additions are not automatically included.
For the extended commercial warranty to be valid, two timely service checks at EVOLT are required:
- First mandatory service: after three months or after 1,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The check is free of charge if no additional work or material is required.
- Second mandatory service: after 3,000 kilometers or one year from purchase, whichever comes first. The check is free of charge if no additional work or material is required.
If either of the two mandatory service checks is not performed on time, the extended commercial warranty expires. The purpose of the checks is to timely inspect the braking system, pad and tire wear, bolt connections, suspension, and other loaded components.
The commercial warranty and its conditions do not limit the consumer's legal rights regarding the conformity of goods. Before purchasing, we recommend checking the valid text, scope of coverage, exceptions, and the claim procedure on the product page and in the warranty terms.
Local service and support from EVOLT in Ljubljana
With a more powerful electric scooter, it is important to know who can help you after the purchase. Performance Edition connects the product and service in one place: EVOLT knows the brake configuration used, the chosen pads and tires, and the specifics of each model.
Local support is useful for regular checks, adjustments, diagnostics, brake component wear, and questions regarding suitable configuration. Instead of a remote online seller, you have a point of contact in Ljubljana, where personal visits are also possible.

Before visiting, we recommend scheduling an appointment and providing the exact model and current mileage. This makes it faster to assess the required check, potential parts, and turnaround time.
How does choosing a Performance Edition scooter work?
- Select the base model according to drive, range, wheel size, weight, and type of route.
- Check the brake version: G2 2026 is semi-hydraulic, while other models in the collection use NUTT hydraulic brakes front and rear.
- Choose pads and tires where these options are available. For the T3, tire replacement is not included in the offer.
- Decide on an additional year of warranty and familiarize yourself with the deadlines for both mandatory service checks.
- Select delivery or personal collection according to the options shown at checkout.
- After receiving, regularly check the scooter: tire pressure and condition, brake function, play in the folding mechanism, bolt connections, lights, and any unusual sounds.
Maintenance and safe use
Even the best upgrade requires proper use. Before every long ride, check the function of both brakes, the condition of the discs and pads, tire pressure, the folding mechanism, and lighting. New brake pads need proper bedding-in so the pad surface adapts evenly to the disc. If the lever becomes unusually soft, if its travel increases significantly, or if you notice fluid leaking, do not use the scooter until the braking system has been inspected.
Always wear a quality helmet and protective gear, adapt your speed to visibility, the road surface, and traffic, and comply with current traffic regulations. Off-road tires and a powerful motor do not mean that every surface is suitable or safe for riding.
