• Inspect the pads if braking performance drops, wear is uneven, or contamination occurs. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the safety pin and the old pair. Following the procedure for your specific caliper, prepare space for the new pads, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the safety pin. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check the wheel for free rotation and lever function. Bed in the new pads by performing several gradual stops in a safe area, without locking the wheel.
