When choosing, pay attention to the rectangular mounting opening and the side cutouts. Use a disc approved for metallic lining and maintain the correct spring position between the pads.

Brake lining

Full-metallic lining is suitable for a compatible disc that allows metallic pads. It handles higher heat loads well; compared to organic, it may be louder and cause more disc wear. Bed in the new pair gradually after brake adjustment.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads in case of reduced braking performance, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the retainer and the old pair. Prepare space for the new pads according to the procedure for your caliper, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the retainer. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check wheel rotation and lever operation. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe area without locking the wheel.
