Wide green holders have a rectangular friction lining and an upper eye for a safety pin. A pair of ceramic pads is complemented by a separation spring and a cotter pin.

Before replacing, compare the width and height of the pad, the mounting eye, and the safety pin position. Install the ceramic pair with the appropriate separation spring and break in the brakes after adjustment.

Only for a mounted brake caliper with the ZOOM pad shape stated for this product. Before selecting, be sure to compare the old pad; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake lining

A ceramic compound forms the friction surface of the pads. For even contact with the disc, gradually break in a new pair after installation. Keep the lining clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface reduces braking effect.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads in case of reduced braking, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the safety pin and the old pair. Following the procedure for your caliper, prepare space for the new pads, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the safety pin. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check for free rotation of the wheel and operation of the lever. Break in the new pads with several gradual slowdowns in a safe place, without locking the wheel.
