Dual friction zone for compatible Magura caliper

Each black backing plate has two separate friction zones and an extended top tab. This shape is designed for a compatible Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 caliper.

Features and fitment

  • Model: Kalkhoff Integrale.
  • Black backing plates with two separate lining surfaces on each.
  • Design for Magura MT5/MT7.

Before selecting, check the actual brake on the vehicle. The pads match the specified caliper shape even for an appropriate upgrade, but are not an automatic replacement for original brake pads of another brand.

Only for Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 calipers with the corresponding pad shape. If the vehicle has a different caliper, these pads are not a direct replacement.

Brake lining

The friction lining presses against the disc, and the backing plate holds it in the correct position in the caliper. Replace both pads together if they are worn, damaged, or contaminated with oil. During installation, also check the retainer and wheel rotation.

When to replace and how to start

  • Inspect the pads in case of reduced braking performance, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
  • Remove the retainer and the old pair. Prepare space for the new pads according to the procedure for your caliper, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the retainer. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
  • Check wheel rotation and lever operation. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe area without locking the wheel.
