The black outer tire marked 255 × 80 or 80/65-6 features large blocks along the center and shoulders. The tread is designed for use on terrain where a more aggressive off-road pattern is desired.

Compare the full markings, especially the final number 6, and the width of the existing tire. The tire bead must fit the rim, and there must be sufficient clearance between the blocks and the mudguard.

Tire inspection and installation

• Replace the tire if the tread is worn, or if there are cracks, bulges, or a damaged bead. Remove foreign objects and check the rim condition before installation.
• Depressurize the wheel, remove the old tire, and install the new one without damaging the bead. Observe any rotation direction arrows.
