The original 42 V / 1.7 A charger uses a round 8 mm connector.

The Segway charger has a 42 V / 1.7 A output and a round charging connector. The black rectangular housing is completed by a fixed output cable and a separate cable for connection to a European power outlet.

Use and inspection of the charger

• Before connecting, check that the socket is dry and the cable is undamaged. Do not insert the plug with force; follow the connection order from the vehicle's manual.
• During charging, keep the charger on a dry, ventilated surface and do not cover it. Disconnect it according to the instructions after charging is complete.
• If the battery does not accept a charge, also check the socket and wiring. Replacing the charger does not fix battery failure; stop using a damaged unit.
