The original 42V / 1.7A charger uses a round 8mm connector.

The Segway charger has a 42V / 1.7A output and a round charging connector. The black rectangular housing is complemented by a permanent output cable and a separate cable for connection to a European mains socket.

Charger usage and inspection

• Before connecting, check that the socket is dry and the cable is undamaged. Do not force the plug; follow the connection order from the vehicle's manual.
• During charging, leave the charger on a dry, ventilated surface and do not cover it. Disconnect it after charging according to the instructions.
• If the battery does not accept a charge, also check the socket and wiring. Replacing the charger does not fix a battery failure; stop using a damaged unit.
