Choosing a suitable, high-quality tire is essential for safe riding and getting the most from your electric scooter.

Preventing flat tires

The most common cause of flat tires is riding with incorrect inner tube pressure. Most electric scooters require at least 3,5 bar, which should be checked regularly with a pressure gauge — ideally once a week.

Riding with incorrect inner tube pressure can cause:

• Inner tube damage and punctures
• Tire wear on both the inside and outside
• Poor grip and increased risk of slipping
• Longer braking distances
• Poor handling

Service information

Replace the tire as soon as you notice signs of poor handling, reduced grip, vibration or visible wear. Under normal use, replacement is recommended every 1 000 – 2 000 km.

Outside: Worn-flat tread, burn marks or holes. Regular riding causes normal wear; tricks or aggressive braking accelerate it.
Inside: Displacement of the wire structure, often caused by riding with incorrect tire pressure.

Unprofessional inner tube or tire replacement can cause:

• Motor cable damage
• Motor housing damage
• Sharp cuts on the rim
• Damage to the tire and new inner tube

If your electric scooter has a flat or worn tire, both the inner tube and tire must be inspected during replacement, as incorrect pressure often damages both. A new inner tube fitted in a damaged scooter tire will have a very limited lifespan.
