Adjusting the rest and grip

• Remove the old grips, then clean and dry the handlebar. Before tightening, ensure that the new grip sits completely on the intended part of the tube.
• Adjust the position to your relaxed wrist and the reach of the brake lever. Tighten the clamping parts, where present, according to the instructions and check that the grip does not rotate.
• Check for free throttle return. Replace torn, hardened, or slippery grips; do not apply lubricant to the grip surface.
