Replacing and aligning the disc

• Replace the disc if there are cracks, permanent deformation, or wear below the minimum allowable thickness. If rubbing occurs, check the caliper alignment first.
• Clean the contact surface of the hub and install the disc in the marked rotation direction. Tighten the bolts gradually in a cross-pattern to the specified torque.
• Keep the braking surface clean and free of grease. After assembly, check for free rotation and braking performance; a new disc and pads require proper bedding-in.
