Dual friction area for compatible Magura caliper

Each black backing plate features two separate friction areas and an extended top tab. This design is intended for the compatible Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 caliper.

Check the actual brake on the vehicle before choosing. The pads correspond to the stated caliper shape even when properly upgraded, but they are not a direct replacement for pads of a different brake brand.

Only for Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 calipers with the corresponding pad shape. If the vehicle has a different caliper, these pads are not a direct replacement.

Brake pad

The friction material presses against the disc, and the backing plate holds it in the correct position in the caliper. Replace both pads together if they are worn, damaged, or contaminated with oil. During installation, also check the retainer and the wheel's free rotation.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads in case of reduced braking, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the retainer and the old pair. Prepare space for the new pads according to the procedure for your caliper, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the retainer. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check the wheel's free rotation and lever operation. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe place, without locking the wheel.
