Wide green carriers feature a rectangular friction surface and a top tab for a locking pin. The ceramic pad pair is complemented by a spreader spring and a cotter pin.

Before replacement, compare the pad width, height, mounting tab, and locking pin position. Install the ceramic pair with the appropriate spreader spring and bed them in after adjusting the brake.

For use only with brake calipers having the ZOOM pad shape specified for this product. Always compare with your old pad before choosing; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake compound

The ceramic compound forms the friction surface of the pads. To ensure even contact with the disc, gradually bed in the new pair after installation. Keep the surface clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface will reduce braking performance.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads if braking performance drops, wear is uneven, or contamination occurs. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the brake manual for the minimum allowed thickness.
• Remove the locking pin and the old pair. Prepare the space for the new pads according to the procedure for your caliper, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the locking pin. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check for wheel clearance and lever operation. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe location, without locking the wheel.
