The wide green carriers feature a rectangular friction lining and an upper lug for the retaining clip. The pair of ceramic pads is complemented by a spreader spring and a cotter pin.

Before replacing, compare the width and height of the pad, the mounting lug, and the position of the retaining clip. Install the ceramic pair with the correct spreader spring and bed them in after adjusting the brake.

Only for an installed brake caliper with the ZOOM pad shape specified for this product. Before selecting, be sure to compare the old pad; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake pad

The ceramic compound forms the friction surface of the pads. To ensure even contact with the disc, gradually bed in the new pair after installation. Keep the lining clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface will reduce braking performance.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads in case of reduced braking performance, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the retaining clip and the old pair. Prepare space for the new pads according to the procedure for your specific caliper, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the retaining clip. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check for free wheel rotation and brake lever function. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe location, without locking the wheel.
