Right rear mechanical brake caliper

The black rear brake caliper is designed for installation on the right side of the wheel assembly. It features a return spring, a cable adjustment bolt, and an F180/R160 adapter.

• Model: KuKirin G4.
• Black mechanical cable caliper; right rear version; mounting elements.

Approximate dimensions

• Caliper with adapter: 103 × 69 × 50 mm.
• Mounting hole spacing: 50 mm.
• Hole diameter: 5 mm.

The cable pull direction, disc side, and mounting points must match. A mirrored front caliper is not automatically an identical replacement.

Adjusting the mechanical brake

• Replace the caliper if it is damaged or if its mechanism cannot be adjusted properly. Worn pads or a bent disc do not necessarily mean the caliper is faulty.
• Align it with the disc on the appropriate adapter, connect the cable, and adjust the pad position and lever travel according to the instructions. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
• The brake should engage before the lever touches the handlebar. Check the mechanism's return, free wheel rotation, and the gradual bedding-in of new pads.
