• Remove the old grips, and clean and dry the handlebar. Before fastening, ensure the new grip sits completely on the intended part of the tube.
• Adjust the position to match a relaxed wrist and the reach of the brake lever. Tighten the clamping parts, where present, according to the instructions and check that the grip does not rotate.
• Check for free throttle return. Replace torn, hardened, or slippery grips; do not apply lubricant to the gripping surface.
