Adjusting support and grip

• Remove the old grips, then clean and dry the handlebar. Before attaching, check that the new grip fits completely onto the intended part of the tube.
• Adjust the position for a relaxed wrist and reach of the brake lever. Tighten the clamping parts, where present, according to the instructions and check that the grip does not rotate.
• Check for free throttle return. Replace torn, hardened, or slippery grips; do not apply lubricant to the gripping surface.
