• Remove the old grips, then clean and dry the handlebar. Before tightening, ensure the new grip is fully seated on the intended section of the tube.
• Adjust the position for a relaxed wrist and comfortable reach to the brake lever. Tighten the locking components (where present) according to instructions and ensure the grip does not rotate.
• Verify smooth throttle return. Replace torn, hardened, or slippery grips; do not apply lubricant to the grip surface.
