• Stare ročke odstranite ter očistite in posušite krmilo. Pred pritrditvijo preverite, da nova ročka povsem nalega na predvideni del cevi.
• Položaj prilagodite sproščenemu zapestju in dosegu zavorne ročice. Vpenjalne dele, kjer so prisotni, zategnite po navodilih in preverite, da se ročka ne vrti.
• Preverite prost povratek plina. Raztrgane, otrdele ali drseče ročke zamenjajte; maziva ne nanašajte na oprijemno površino.
