180 mm disc with six bolts

The 180 mm diameter silver disc has six mounting points and several types of round openings in the brake ring. The set is completed by six bolts for the appropriate hub.

• Thickness: 1.7 mm.
• Mounting circle: 44.5 mm.
• Distance between holes: 22.5 and 39 mm.

The thickness is approximately 1.7 mm. Check the mounting pattern, minimum allowable thickness, and caliper adapter. Upgrading from a smaller disc to 180 mm is not a direct replacement without checking the fork, frame, and brake.

Disc replacement and alignment

• Replace the disc in case of cracks, permanent deformation, or wear below the minimum thickness. If rubbing occurs, first check the caliper alignment.
• Clean the hub contact surface and install the disc in the marked rotation direction. Tighten the bolts gradually in a cross pattern to the specified torque.
• Keep the braking surface clean and free of oil. After assembly, check for free rotation and braking performance; a new disc and pads require proper bedding-in.
