Before replacing, compare pad width and height, mounting ear, and retaining pin position. Install the ceramic pair with the appropriate spreader spring and bed in the brake after adjustment.

Only for brake calipers using the ZOOM pad shape specified with this product. Always compare with your old pad before choosing; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake compound

Ceramic compound forms the pad's friction surface. Bed in the new pair gradually after installation for even contact with the rotor. Keep the pads clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface will reduce braking performance.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect pads if braking performance drops, wear is uneven, or if they are contaminated. Always replace both pads in the same caliper; check the manufacturer's manual for minimum pad thickness.
• Remove the retaining pin and the old pair. Prepare the space for new pads according to your caliper's procedure, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the pin. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check for free wheel rotation and lever operation. Bed in the new pads with several gradual stops in a safe area without locking the wheel.
