Wide green holders feature a rectangular friction surface and an upper ear for a retaining pin. The pair of ceramic pads is completed by a spreader spring and cotter pin.

Before replacing, compare the width and height of the pad, the mounting ear, and the position of the retaining pin. Install the ceramic pair with the appropriate spreader spring and bed them in after adjusting the brake.

Only for installed brake calipers with the ZOOM pad shape specified for this product. Always compare with the old pad before selecting; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake compound

Ceramic compound forms the pad's friction surface. Bed in the new pair gradually after installation to ensure even contact with the disc. Keep the surface clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface reduces braking performance.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect pads if braking performance drops, wear is uneven, or contamination is present. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake instructions.
• Remove the retainer and the old pair. Prepare the space for new pads according to the procedure for your caliper, then insert the spring, new pair, and retainer. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check for free wheel rotation and lever operation. Bed in new pads with multiple gradual stops in a safe area, without locking the wheel.
