The wide green mounts feature a rectangular friction surface and a top lug for a retaining pin. The pair of ceramic pads includes a spreader spring and a cotter pin.

Before replacement, compare the pad width and height, the mounting lug, and the position of the retaining pin. Install the ceramic pair with the appropriate spreader spring and bed them in after adjusting the brake.

Only for brake calipers with the ZOOM pad shape specified for this product. Be sure to compare your old pad before choosing; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake compound

The ceramic compound forms the friction surface of the pads. To ensure even contact with the disc, bed in the new pair gradually after installation. Keep the surface clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface will reduce braking performance.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads in case of poor braking, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the retaining pin and the old pair. Prepare space for the new pads according to the procedure for your specific caliper, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the pin. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check the free rotation of the wheel and the operation of the lever. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe area, without locking the wheel.
