The wide green carriers feature a rectangular friction surface and an upper ear for a safety clip. This pair of ceramic pads is completed by a spreader spring and a cotter pin.

Before replacing, compare the width and height of the pad, the mounting ear, and the safety clip position. Install the ceramic pair with the appropriate spreader spring and bed them in after adjusting the brake.

Only for an installed brake caliper with the ZOOM pad shape specified for this product. Before choosing, you must compare the old pad; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake lining

The ceramic compound forms the friction surface of the pads. For even contact with the disc, bed in the new pair gradually after installation. Keep the lining clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface will reduce braking performance.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads when braking performance decreases, wear is uneven, or contamination occurs. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the safety clip and the old pair. Follow the procedure for your caliper to prepare space for the new pads, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the safety clip. Do not apply grease to friction surfaces.
• Check for free wheel rotation and lever operation. Bed in the new pads by performing several gradual slow-downs in a safe location, without locking the wheel.
