Green ceramic brake pads in wide ZOOM shape

The wide green mounts feature rectangular friction linings and an upper lug for the retaining pin. The pair of ceramic brake pads is completed by a spreader spring and a cotter pin.

Before replacing, compare the pad width and height, the mounting lug, and the position of the retaining pin. Install the ceramic pair with the appropriate spreader spring and break them in after adjusting the brake.

Only for brake calipers with the ZOOM pad shape specified for this product. Be sure to compare your old pad before choosing; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake lining

The ceramic compound forms the friction surface of the pads. To ensure even contact with the disc, gradually break in the new pair after installation. Keep the lining clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface will reduce braking performance.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads in case of reduced braking, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in your brake manual.
• Remove the retaining pin and the old pair. Prepare the space for the new pads according to the procedure for your caliper, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the retaining pin. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check for wheel clearance and lever operation. Break in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe area without locking the wheel.
