The wide green mounts have a rectangular friction surface and an upper ear for a retainer clip. The pair of ceramic pads is completed by a separating spring and a split pin.

Before replacing, compare the pad width and height, mounting ear, and the retainer position. Install the ceramic pair with the appropriate separating spring and break them in after adjusting the brake.

Only for installed brake calipers with the ZOOM pad shape stated for this product. Before selecting, be sure to compare the old pad; the same vehicle model may be equipped with a different caliper.

Brake pad material

Ceramic compound forms the friction surface of the pads. To ensure even contact with the disc, gradually break in the new pair after installation. Keep the pads clean and dry; oil or grease on the friction surface reduces braking performance.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads when braking performance decreases, wear is uneven, or contamination occurs. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the retainer and the old pair. Following the procedure for your caliper, prepare the space for the new pads, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the retainer. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check for free wheel rotation and brake lever function. Break in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe place, without locking the wheel.
