The black ULIP 20 × 4.0 tire has a TH751 profile with low blocks running across a wide tread surface. This is an outer casing for a compatible fat-bike.

The 98-406 marking helps verify the rim bead diameter. Also compare the width, inner tube, and clearance under the mudguard. The tire is wide, so sufficient clearance from the frame must remain when turning and under load.

Tire inspection and installation

• Replace the tire if the tread is worn, or if there are cracks, bulges, or damage to the edge. Before installation, remove any debris and check the condition of the rim.
• Deflate the wheel, remove the old tire, and install the new one without damaging the bead. Observe any rotation direction arrow.
• Set the pressure according to the permitted values for the wheel and load. Check for uniform seating and free rotation; recheck the pressure before your next ride.
