• Remove the old grips, then clean and dry the handlebars. Before securing, check that the new grip sits fully on the designated part of the bar.
• Adjust the position for a relaxed wrist and easy reach to the brake lever. Tighten the locking components (if present) according to the instructions and ensure the grip does not rotate.
• Check for free return of the throttle. Replace torn, hardened, or slippery grips; do not apply lubricant to the grip surface.
