Longer cable for rear mechanical brake

The rear brake cable features an inner metal wire with a barrel end and a black housing. The length is adapted for the path from the handlebars to the rear brake of the corresponding scooter.

• Inner wire: 199 cm, nominal 200 cm.
• Housing: length 182 cm, diameter 5 mm.

The wire measures approximately 2 m, and the housing 182 cm. These lengths are not interchangeable. Before securing at the caliper, check handlebar rotation and ensure there is enough slack for suspension movement.

Smooth pull and proper adjustment

• Replace the cable system if you find frayed wires, corrosion, a damaged housing, or sticking. Check that both the brake lever and the caliper mechanism return freely.
• Route the wire through the existing path, properly seat the housing ends, and adjust the tension at the caliper. Cut the wire only after checking the length and finish with a crimp cap.
• Check braking, wheel drag, and verify there is sufficient slack for handlebar turns. Re-check adjustment after initial use, as the cable system may settle.
