Dual friction area for compatible Magura calipers

Each black backing plate features two separate friction areas and an extended top tab. This design is intended for the compatible Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 brake calipers.

Please check the actual brake on the vehicle before selecting. The pads fit the specified caliper design, even after relevant upgrades, but are not an automatic replacement for pads from other stock brake brands.

Only for Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 calipers with the corresponding pad shape. If the vehicle has a different caliper, these pads are not a direct replacement.

Brake pad

The friction lining presses against the disc, and the backing plate holds it in the correct position within the caliper. Replace both pads together if they are worn, damaged, or contaminated with oil. During installation, also check the retaining clip and the wheel's free rotation.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads in case of poor braking, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the retaining clip and the old pair. Prepare the space for new pads according to your caliper procedure, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the clip. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check the wheel's free rotation and lever operation. Bed in the new pads with several gradual slows in a safe area, without locking the wheel.
