KuKirin G4 2026 Hydraulic Performance Edition is not an ordinary stock G4 with just a different sticker. It is designed for KuKirin enthusiasts who want a robust 60-volt platform but expect more control, thoughtful configuration of key components, and local service support. At EVOLT, we upgrade every electric scooter with front and rear NUTT hydraulic disc brakes and prepare it according to your chosen combination of brake pads and tires.

The 2026 model year also brings an important structural improvement: factory-fitted front fender, which reduces water and mud spray and helps protect key parts of the undercarriage. We have kept everything that makes the G4 special – the 2000-watt rear drive, long deck, high ground clearance, and distinct off-road design – while improving the assembly that most influences the feeling of safety on such a heavy and powerful electric scooter.

2000 W motor and 60-volt drive system

The G4 is powered by a massive rear integrated motor with a nominal power of 2000 W. During acceleration and climbing, it develops a peak power of up to 2400 W and 46.19 N·m of torque at a rated speed of 1470 rpm. This is a drivetrain for riders who appreciate decisive response, plenty of torque, and stable power delivery.

The 60-volt system and sine wave controller enable smoother and more predictable acceleration, and the G4 can handle inclines of up to 30° under a 65 kg load. The maximum speed is limited to 25 km/h for compliance with traffic regulations, and three speed modes are available.

60 V 20 Ah battery for long distances

Energy is provided by a lithium-ion battery with 18650 cells, a voltage of 60 V, and a capacity of 20 Ah. Each cell has a capacity of 2600 mAh, with the entire battery pack having an energy value of 1.2 kWh. The built-in BMS system monitors and protects the battery during charging and high loads.

Under appropriate conditions, the declared range is up to 75 kilometers at a medium speed and 65 kg load. The included charger with an output of 67.2 V and 2 A charges the battery in approximately 10 to 11 hours. The actual range depends on rider weight, speed, incline, temperature, tire pressure and type, and riding style.

Long deck and robust off-road chassis

The hybrid frame made of steel and aluminum provides the stiffness that such a powerful electric scooter needs. The large deck measures 510 × 210 mm and allows the rider enough space to change foot position, better weight distribution, and a more stable stance when accelerating, braking, and riding on uneven terrain.

With 185 mm of ground clearance, the G4 is also ready for larger bumps and obstacles. The front and rear spring absorbers cushion impacts on gravel, forest paths, and damaged asphalt. Due to the weight of 41.5 kg, this is not a light city electric scooter, but a stable heavy-duty platform with a maximum permitted load of 120 kg.

NUTT hydraulic brakes for confident control

Stopping a 41.5 kg electric scooter with a 2000-watt drive requires a braking system that offers the rider power, precision, and repeatable response. This is why we replace the mechanical brake calipers on the EVOLT version with front and rear NUTT hydraulic disc brakes, along with the corresponding hydraulic levers and brake lines.

The hydraulic system requires less lever effort, allows for better modulation, and transfers braking force to the disc more evenly. The 2026 model's front disc measures 160 mm, and the system is complemented by an electronic brake (E-brake). The declared braking distance is from 7 to 10 meters and depends on speed, road surface, tires, load, and riding conditions.

6 W lighting and comprehensive signaling

Visibility at night and in poor lighting conditions is provided by a powerful front 6 W LED headlight. The light beam has a 45-degree angle and illuminates approximately 8 m² of area in front of the scooter.

Built-in turn signals allow for clear signaling of direction changes, and the rear light also functions as a brake light. When braking, it flashes more intensely, thus further alerting other road users. The entire system can be operated by the rider directly via the controls and display on the handlebar.

11-inch tires of your choice

The G4 uses wide 11-inch tires (dimension 90/65-6.5), which provide a large contact patch and stable contact with the ground. These are pneumatic tubeless tires, with a recommended pressure of 350 kPa or 50 psi.

With the EVOLT Performance Edition version, you can further customize the character of the scooter by choosing road, hybrid, or off-road tires. The wide G4 chassis is not limited to just one factory configuration: you can choose smoother handling on asphalt, versatile use, or maximum grip on unpaved paths.

155 mm touch LED display

The scooter's control center is a large LED touch display with dimensions of 155 × 55 mm. The housing is made of ABS material, and the mount is made of PA6. On the display, you monitor speed, battery status, and mileage, and you control three speed modes, cruise control, kick-start or zero-start mode, and lighting.

The wide 660 mm handlebar provides the rider with good leverage and precise control over the heavy chassis. When not in use, it can be folded down to dimensions of 1336 × 550 × 660 mm, which facilitates storage, while transport requires sufficient space due to its weight and dimensions.

Hydraulic or mechanical brakes – what is the difference?

Mechanical disc brakes transfer force from the lever to the brake caliper via a steel cable. The system is simple, but the cable stretches over time, requires more frequent adjustment, and generally demands more finger strength from the rider during hard braking. With hydraulic brakes, force is transferred via brake fluid in a closed system, making the response more direct, smooth, and precisely adjustable.

The difference is especially important on a scooter like the G4. High weight, significant torque, and wide 11-inch tires create loads that require a predictable braking feel. NUTT hydraulic brakes offer more control during city riding, on poor surfaces, and during long descents, while also reducing hand fatigue during frequent braking.

Metal or sintered brake pads?

When ordering, you can customize the type of brake pads to the rider's weight, terrain, and usage:

Metal or semi-metallic pads offer balanced initial grip, predictable braking, and generally quieter operation. They are particularly suitable for daily city riding and for users who prioritize comfort and smooth response.
Sintered pads are made of metal particles pressed at high temperature. They handle heat, water, mud, and long-term loads better, making them more suitable for more demanding riders, frequent descents, and off-road riding. They can be slightly louder and wear down brake discs more, but they ensure more consistent performance in demanding conditions.

Road, hybrid, or off-road tires?

The tire profile significantly affects grip, noise, rolling resistance, responsiveness, and the actual range of the electric scooter. Therefore, you can configure the G4 Hydraulic Performance Edition based on the surface you ride on most often:

Hybrid tires combine a smoother ride on asphalt with a tread sufficiently distinct for gravel and less maintained paths. They are the most versatile choice for mixed use.
Road tires have a smoother profile, which generally offers less noise and rolling resistance, and more direct contact with the asphalt. They are intended primarily for city and road riding.
Off-road tires have more prominent tread blocks for more grip on gravel, dirt, and softer surfaces. On asphalt, they are louder and create more rolling resistance, but they perform best off paved roads.

Option to extend warranty to 2 years

The electric scooter includes a one-year commercial warranty. Upon purchase, you can buy an additional year to ensure a total of two years of commercial warranty. The condition for the validity of the extended warranty is two timely service check-ups at the EVOLT service center:

First mandatory service: after 3 months or after 1000 km – whichever comes first. The service check-up is free of charge if no additional work or material is required.
Second mandatory service: after 3000 km or after one year from purchase – whichever comes first. The service check-up is free of charge if no additional work or material is required.

If either of the two mandatory service check-ups is not performed on time, the extended commercial warranty ceases to be valid. The check-ups allow for timely control of hydraulic brakes, tires, bolted connections, suspension, and other loaded components so that the G4 remains correctly set up and safe for use.

What does the label KuKirin × EVOLT Performance Edition mean?

This means you are not buying an ordinary factory scooter. The model is upgraded with more powerful NUTT hydraulic brakes, and the customer can also choose the type of brake pads and tires. The conversion and preparation of the scooter are performed by EVOLT, so you receive a configuration adapted to your riding style.

How does the two-year total warranty option work?

The scooter comes with a basic one-year commercial warranty, and upon purchase, you can buy an additional year to secure a total of two years of commercial warranty. Two service inspections are mandatory for the extended warranty to be valid:

first service after 3 months or 1,000 km – whichever comes first; the 1st service is free, provided no additional work is required.
second service after 3,000 km or one year from purchase – whichever comes first; the 2nd service is free, provided no additional work is required.

What is covered by the commercial warranty and what is not?

The commercial warranty covers proven factory defects in material, workmanship, or operation, which arise during proper use of the scooter.

It does not cover normal wear and tear or consumables, such as tires, inner tubes, brake pads, brake discs, bearings, and other parts that wear out with use. It also does not cover damage resulting from:

falls, collisions, accidents, or overloading;
water ingress or cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner;
improper use, maintenance, or storage;
unauthorized interventions and modifications;
use of an unsuitable charger;
improper charging or deep discharge of the battery;
continued use of the scooter after a fault has occurred, which causes additional damage.

Every warranty claim is reviewed individually. The commercial warranty conditions do not limit the consumer's statutory rights regarding non-conformity of the goods.

Does unauthorized intervention or improper battery charging affect the warranty?

Yes. Unauthorized opening, modification, or repair of the scooter voids the commercial warranty, especially when the intervention is related to the resulting defect. This includes interventions in:

the battery;
the controller;
the motor;
the electrical wiring and connectors;
the display and other electronic components.

The battery warranty does not apply in case of deep discharge or undervoltage due to improper charging or storage. The battery must be charged regularly even when the scooter is not in use for a longer period.

Long-term storage of an empty battery can cause the voltage to drop below the safe limit and permanently damage the battery cells. Likewise, damage to the battery due to an unsuitable charger, moisture, impact, extreme temperatures, or other improper handling is not covered.

Are service inspections mandatory for the validity of the two-year commercial warranty?

Yes. Both service checks are a mandatory condition for the validity of the two-year commercial warranty:

first service after 3 months or 1,000 km – whichever comes first;
second service after 3,000 km or one year from the date of purchase – whichever comes first.

If any of the services are not performed on time, the additional two-year commercial warranty expires. Services must be properly recorded, so the buyer must retain the service documentation.

Only the prescribed service check is free of charge. Any additional work, repairs, spare parts, and consumables are charged separately.

Does the two-year commercial warranty apply to every purchased scooter?

No. The two-year commercial warranty is only valid if it was selected and purchased together with the scooter. The purchase of the additional year of warranty must be stated on the invoice or other purchase documentation.

If the scooter was purchased only with the basic one-year commercial warranty, completed maintenance checks do not in themselves extend the warranty to two years.

The additional two-year commercial warranty cannot be claimed retroactively after the purchase if it was not included at the time of purchase.

Does the warranty cover tires, brakes, and other wear parts?

No. The commercial warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or consumables. Consumable or wear-and-tear parts include, but are not limited to:

outer tires, inner tubes, and solid tires;
brake pads, brake discs, and brake linings;
bearings, seals, and bushings;
grips, fenders, and kickstands;
screws and other parts prone to wear from use;
other parts whose lifespan depends on the method and intensity of use.

Worn brakes, worn or punctured tires, and similar wear are not considered warranty defects. If an actual factory defect is proven on a wear-and-tear part, the case will be handled individually.

What are the advantages of NUTT hydraulic brakes?

NUTT hydraulic brakes require less force at the brake lever and allow for better control of braking power. Compared to mechanical brakes, they do not have a classic steel cable that can stretch or require frequent adjustments. Because of this, they are more suitable for more powerful and heavier electric scooters, especially at higher speeds, longer descents, and frequent braking.
