The mounting diameter is approximately 22.5 mm, cable length 137 mm. Compare the number of contacts, polarity/wiring, and lock position. A 3-pin version requires different electrical wiring.

Replacement and functional test

• Disconnect the vehicle's power supply before replacement. Note the wiring, and install the new switch in the same intended location without pinching the wiring.
• Check that the buttons or key operate without sticking and that the connector is properly engaged. The handlebar must be able to turn without straining the cable.
• Test every function individually before riding. If the contact is breaking, also check the connector and wiring, as the fault is not necessarily in the switch itself.
