The mounting bracket spacing is approximately 51 mm. Before purchasing, compare the specific side and position of the brake; a similar caliper with opposite orientation can obstruct the routing or not fit the disc.

Adjusting the mechanical brake

• Replace the caliper if it is damaged or if its mechanism cannot be adjusted correctly. Worn pads or a bent disc do not necessarily mean caliper failure.
• Align it with the disc on the appropriate adapter, connect the cable, and adjust the pad position and lever travel according to the instructions. Tighten the bolts to the prescribed torque.
• The brake must engage before the lever touches the handlebar. Check the mechanism return, free wheel rotation, and gradual bedding-in of new pads.
