Dual friction area for compatible Magura calipers

Each black backing plate has two separate friction areas and an extended top tab. This design is intended for the compatible Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 caliper.

Features and fitment

  • Model: Stevens E-Triton 45 Lady.

  • Shape for Magura MT5/MT7.

Before choosing, check the actual brake on the vehicle. These pads match the specified caliper shape even when used as an upgrade, but they are not a direct replacement for stock pads of a different brand.

Only for Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 calipers with the appropriate pad shape. If the vehicle has a different caliper, these pads are not a direct replacement.

Brake compound

The friction compound presses against the disc, while the holder keeps it in the correct position in the caliper. Replace both pads together if they are worn, damaged, or contaminated with oil. During installation, also check the retaining pin and wheel free rotation.

When to replace and how to start

  • Inspect the pads in case of poor braking, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum thickness in the brake manual.
  • Remove the retaining pin and the old pair. Prepare space for the new pads according to the procedure for your specific caliper, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the pin. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
  • Check the free rotation of the wheel and the operation of the lever. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe area, without locking the wheel.
