The 9 × 3.0-5.5 tire features a distinctive off-road tread with larger blocks and channels between them. The black tubeless design is intended for use with a compatible 5.5-inch rim bead seat.

Check the wheel assembly generation. The 9 × 3.0-5.5 version differs from the older wheel with an 8.5 × 3 tire and inner tube. Compare the overall dimensions before removing the old tire.

Applies only to versions with a 9×3.0-5.5 dimension and a compatible tubeless rim. Not a direct replacement for the older 8.5×3 version with an inner tube.

Tire inspection and installation

• Replace the tire if the tread is worn, or if there are cracks, bulges, or damage to the bead. Remove debris and check the rim condition before installation.
• Depressurize the wheel, remove the old tire, and install the new one without damaging the bead. Observe any direction of rotation arrows.
• Set the pressure according to the wheel and load limits. Check for even seating and free movement; check the pressure again before the next ride.
