Orange front caliper for mechanical disc brake

The front brake caliper features an orange housing, a cable adjustment fitting, and a black F180/R160 adapter. The mechanical pull moves the spring lever at the top of the caliper.

Approximate dimensions

• Caliper: 101 × 70 × 50 mm.
• Mounting hole spacing: 51 mm.
• Diameter of marked mounting hole: 4.7 mm.

During installation, check the front position of the adapter, the intended disc diameter, and the cable entry direction.

Mechanical brake adjustment

• Replace the caliper if it is damaged or if its mechanism cannot be properly adjusted. Worn pads or a warped disc do not necessarily mean the caliper is faulty.
• Align it with the disc on the appropriate adapter, connect the cable, and adjust the pad position and lever travel according to instructions. Tighten bolts to the specified torque.
• The brake must engage before the lever touches the handlebar. Check the mechanism return, wheel free rotation, and the gradual bedding-in of new pads.
