Right front mechanical disc brake caliper

This black front caliper is designed for the right side of the vehicle and for cable-actuated braking. The included adapter, bolts, and spring mechanism form a complete mechanical replacement assembly.

• Black cable-actuated mechanical caliper; right front version; mounting hardware.

Approximate dimensions

• Caliper with adapter: 103 × 69 × 50 mm.
• Mounting hole spacing: 50 mm.
• Hole diameter: 5 mm.

Before installation, compare the cable pull lever direction, mounting spacing, and brake disc diameter. Align the caliper only after the wheel is installed to ensure the disc passes correctly between the pads.

Mechanical brake adjustment

• Replace the caliper if it is damaged or if its mechanism cannot be adjusted properly. Worn pads or a warped disc do not necessarily indicate a faulty caliper.
• Align it with the disc using the appropriate adapter, connect the cable, and adjust the pad position and lever travel according to the instructions. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
• The brake should engage before the lever touches the handlebar. Check for mechanism return, free wheel rotation, and gradual bedding-in of new pads.
