Shaped rear fender with reflector

The black rear fender has a wide shaped surface, lower reinforcing ribs, and a red reflector. It is installed above the rear wheel and limits splashing of water and dirt towards the rider.

Replacement is sensible in case of cracked mounting points or rubbing due to deformation. Before installation, also check the bracket; a new fender on a bent bracket may hit the tire again.

Installation without rubbing against the wheel

  • Remove the damaged part and check the condition of the mounting points. Tighten the screws evenly so you do not crack the housing or bend the bracket.
  • Rotate the wheel and check the tire clearance around the entire circumference. On a suspended vehicle, there must be enough space even during suspension operation.
  • After the first ride, check the mounting. Do not use the fender as a handle for lifting or as a footrest.
