In addition to tire size, check the valve direction and accessibility near the motor. The valve should emerge from the rim hole without tension and with enough clearance for a pump head.

Replacement without pinching the tube

• Before replacement, identify the cause of the puncture in the tire or rim. A foreign object, sharp edge, or damaged rim tape can immediately damage the new inner tube.
• Inflate the tube slightly, align the valve with the opening, and distribute it evenly within the tire. When seating the bead, avoid pinching it with mounting tools.
• Inflate to the pressure allowed for the wheel assembly. Check valve position and sealing; do not use the valve cap to stop a leak.
