Steering bearing set with seating parts

The set contains two bearings with red seals and the corresponding black seats and split rings. It is intended for the restoration of the appropriate upper and lower steering assembly.

• Individual bearing approximately 30.2 × 41 × 6.5 mm.

Approximate dimensions

• Bearing: inner diameter 30.2 mm, outer diameter 41 mm, height 6.5 mm.
• Seat: inner diameter 34.2 mm, outer diameter 49.6 mm, height 10 mm.
• Split ring: inner diameter 30 mm, outer diameter 39.9 mm, height 4.2 mm.

Individual bearing measures approximately 30.2 × 41 × 6.5 mm. Before disassembly, note the order of parts; an incorrectly turned ring can cause play or sticking steering even with new bearings.

Restoration of the steering assembly

• Check for play or sticking first in conjunction with adjustment and seating surfaces. Replace a damaged bearing without hitting the rolling parts.
• Clean the seat and assemble the parts in the correct order. Transfer the force during insertion to the ring that fits the seat, and observe the prescribed lubrication.
• After adjustment, check for smooth steering rotation and absence of play. Excessive tightening does not fix a worn bearing.
