Dual friction pad for Magura brake calipers

Each black backing plate features two separate friction pads and an extended top tab. This design is intended for the appropriate Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 caliper.

Check the actual brake on your vehicle before choosing. The pads fit the specified caliper design even when properly upgraded, but are not an automatic replacement for original equipment pads from other brands.

Only for Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 calipers with matching pad shapes. If the vehicle has a different caliper, these pads are not a direct replacement.

Brake pad liner

The friction material presses against the disc, and the carrier holds it in the correct position within the caliper. Replace both pads together if they are worn, damaged, or contaminated with oil. During installation, also check the retaining clip and ensure the wheel spins freely.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads if braking performance decreases, wear is uneven, or they are contaminated. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in your brake manual.
• Remove the retaining clip and the old pair. Follow the procedure for your specific caliper to prepare space for the new pads, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the retaining clip. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check that the wheel spins freely and that the lever functions properly. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe area without locking the wheel.
