Dual friction zone for corresponding Magura caliper

Each black backing plate has two separate friction zones and an extended upper tab. This design is intended for the corresponding Magura MT5, MT5e or MT7 caliper.

Before choosing, check the actual brake on the vehicle. These pads match the specified caliper shape even when upgraded accordingly, but are not an automatic replacement for pads of a stock brake of another brand.

Only for Magura MT5, MT5e or MT7 caliper with the appropriate pad shape. If the vehicle has a different caliper, these pads are not a direct replacement.

Brake lining

The friction lining presses against the disc, and the carrier holds it in the correct position in the caliper. Replace both pads together if they are worn, damaged, or contaminated with oil. During installation, also check the safety clip and the wheel's free rotation.

When to replace and how to start

• Inspect the pads in case of poor braking, uneven wear, or contamination. Replace both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
• Remove the safety clip and the old pair. Following the procedure for your caliper, prepare space for the new pads, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the safety clip. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
• Check the wheel's free rotation and the lever operation. Bed in the new pads with several gradual decelerations in a safe place, without locking the wheel.
