Dual friction zone for the appropriate Magura caliper

Each black backing plate has two separate friction zones and an extended top tab. This design is intended for the appropriate Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 caliper.

Features and fitment

  • Model: Haibike ALLMTN CF 9.
  • Black backing plates with two separate lining surfaces on each.
  • Shape for Magura MT5/MT7.

Before choosing, check the actual brake on the vehicle. The pads correspond to the listed caliper shape even after an appropriate upgrade, but they are not an automatic replacement for pads of a stock brake from another brand.

Only for Magura MT5, MT5e, or MT7 calipers with the appropriate pad shape. If the vehicle has a different caliper, these pads are not a direct replacement.

Brake lining

The brake lining presses against the disc, while the backing plate holds it in the correct position in the caliper. Replace both pads together if they are worn, damaged, or contaminated with oil. During installation, also check the retaining clip and free wheel rotation.

When to replace and how to start

  • Inspect the pads if braking performance decreases, wear is uneven, or they are contaminated. Change both pads in the same caliper; check the minimum allowed thickness in the brake manual.
  • Remove the retaining clip and the old pair. Following the procedure for your caliper, prepare the space for the new pads, then insert the spring, the new pair, and the retaining clip. Do not grease the friction surfaces.
  • Check for free wheel rotation and lever operation. Bed in the new pads with several gradual slowdowns in a safe place, without locking the wheel.
